A moment dedicated to our Dad

It’s hard to know how to write about Dad’s passing, especially when he spent his life believing that death was not the end. What I do know is that losing him feels like it came far too quickly and far too soon.

When we think of our dad, we think of love, passion, dedication and happiness. He dedicated his life to God and to caring for people when they needed it most, making himself available for prayer 24/7. He gave so much of himself to others, and you could see the joy he found in his life and his work through his huge smile and infectious laugh.

Dad often spoke about how we are so much more than the labels we use to define ourselves. While many knew him as a practitioner, to us he was Dad. He was also a husband, brother, friend, and so much more to so many people. I’ll forever be grateful for the beautiful, kind and caring siblings he gave me, and that we were able to be together, hold his hand, and tell him how much we loved him as he passed on to his next journey.

There wasn’t enough time, and there was so much more life I wanted to share with him. But I know you’ll be with us through every step of the rest of our lives. ❤️ If there’s something you want to do for us during this time, spread the love a little more. Remember that everyone matters, laugh like a kid, and make sure the people you love know it.
